What happens when life’s walls come down?
When everything you know and love, changes.
I believe in these pivotal moments that break us and shape us, that the true self is born.
Cue Josh & Kayla.
One day I get a message in my inbox from this lovely woman, looking for an anniversary shoot. Not just any shoot, but something to commemorate their love & life together while celebrating their youth and creativity.
I was hooked. Her vibe, her love of photography and her absolute sweetness.
So, weeks go by. And I finally get to meet Josh. We hung out at sunset, and made this session all about connection. period. A not just a physical connection (but omgggg fer reallll) but also between us all. It’s the real good, real vulnerable, real talk that sets my heart on fire and I am so grateful that these two shared their world with me. I can see how the hardships in their life have brought together the most beautiful pairing of pure love.
Every shoot is always so different. And with so much experience under my belt, I’ve learnt to expect nothing. Literally, zilch. For some people, these shoots are just a fun night out. For some, it’s a date night full of cuddles and kisses. For others, it’s a celebration of the now to be appreciated later. I am always not surprised by how moved I am when I do these small Georgina Sunset Session that give me the most feelings, I accept it whole heartedly.
For now, Kayla & Josh, thank YOU for sharing every bit of your love for one another with me. You are beautiful. Inside, outside and all around <3
