We checked the weather network constantly, in anticipation for a special day. And not just any special day, but a full-on celebration of the two most beautiful souls ever. Crystal, a laid back soul always wearing a smile and ready to rock. And her sweet other half, Mark, the absolute perfect compliment in every way. Okay, back to the weather, it was calling for rain the entire week. And not just a casual spring splashing, but a torrential down pour that was ready to flood the whole riddermark known as Terra Cotta.
Well, low and behold, we drove up to Terra Cotta Inn and the sun was blasting. There was a beautiful hot, hot, heat and the birds were singing. It was the perfect match for the smiles that welcomed us at our arrival. To be honest, I am full of nerves before we shoot a wedding. Or any session, really. And when I walked up and saw Crystal, the world just slowed right now. She had the BIGGEST smile and the most relaxed demeanor. Both Brandon & I are so gravitated to both Crystal & Mark because of their complete kindness and relate-ability.
Words suck, so I’ll let the photographs tell the story of these two, their families & friends. It was a wedding where you show up as the ‘help’ and are immediately welcomed as family. It was the kind of wedding that you leave feeling lucky you spent your day the way you did. They are the kind of people you hope you book and get to work for every weekend for the rest of your life. Without further ado, here is Crystal & Mark’s Terra Cotta Inn Wedding.
