I’m currently sitting in a hammock, swaying back and forth, while listening to the chattering birds nearby. Here, in Nosara, Costa Rica, life is slow, warm & meaningful. It’s incredible to draw a parallel to my current surroundings and the people that I get to capture. Cue these two sweethearts, Jennifer & Christian.
Jennifer is a wandering soul, with an active spirit and also a force to be reckon with. She’s a wedding photographer, check out her work here! I am lucky to call this woman a true friend of mine and have been lucky to enter into her world and life with Christian. Upon our first introductions, I could tell why she loves this guy. What a balancing Ying to her Yang. He actually reminds me a bit of my other half, Brandon. A strong presence of a man, yet so relate-able and easy to talk to. It was a wonderful experience to get them to melt into one another in various bits of light and space throughout their home. And even funnier to get to witness their little quirks with one another. I don’t know why it surprises me every single time but I always giggle when I get to see the “inner workings” of a relationship. You know, the snarky, inside jokes. Or the intimate rituals that makes a couple so unique.
We drank coffee, fed the cats waffles, took a few analog stills, cuddled a lot & rolled around the carpet. I may have gawked at Jen’s perfectly curved bodacious bottom a couple times (I think Christian was on board with me for that one haha!) and gave plenty of verbal affirmation that, I, too, would love a booty like that.
All in all, hanging out with these two is similar to sitting in a hammock in Costa Rica: Slow paced, warm hearted & meaningful. And I am excited to share this simple set of images that capture a very deep love between these two souls. Without further ado, check out this sweet Kensington Love Adventure. Jennifer & Christian, thanks for sharing your world with me. I loved every second of it.
