Laura & Aaron put together one of the most memorable days of the summer. But before I start rambling away I need to give a bit of a back story because these two people are insanely special to me. We all grew up in the small town of Keswick, Ontario. We all went to the same highschool, partied at the same houses & skipped classes together to go hang out in the summer sun. I have known these two beautiful souls for a long, long time. And when I heard that they had started dating, I couldn’t imagine them apart. They are so natural, loving and smitten for one another. When the day came when Emma was born, we were all smitten for her. She is one of the happiest little babies that I have ever cuddled. These three have one heck of a journey ahead of them and I couldn’t be happier to kick it off photographing one of my most favorite celebrations to date. I don’t like saying “the best ever… blah blah” but I have to say that their wedding was one of my favourites as it was SO close to home for me in my heart. And getting to celebrate and party with all of my friends was pretty unreal.
They held their rustic wedding at the Dowswell barn in Beaverton. An unbelievably rad spot with a ton of space and so much style. They opted for a less traditional day and flipped the ceremony to happen after dinner. The entire day had an ambiance of love, friendship and warmth that I was easily captivated. Which explains why this is longest blog post I have ever created.
Laura & Aaron (and Emma) thank you for sharing this adventure with Brandon & I. We had a blast capturing these moments and celebrating with you all. Without further ado, here is Aaron & Laura’s Dowswell Barn Wedding.
