Oh my lanta, this was one hell of a fun evening. Obviously there were a billion contributing factors that made this one of the most memorable at home sessions starting with Kevin the cat. Never in my years have I ever had a cat work a camera so hard, it actually made my day. I was thinking of making a blog post on all the pets I’ve photographed during engagement sessions and I have a feeling it would be a hit. I mean, come on.
Okay, so back to this session. Well without getting all teary-eyed, I’ll share that these two are tremendously important to me and are two human beings that I am SO DAMN THANKFUL that I get to call friends. Sam & Chantal have the biggest hearts, and are so crazy considerate, that it’s easy to be captivated by their energy. The fact that they are together only makes their individual lights shine ever brighter. I’ll be honest, I always get a wee bit nervous before a session like this. Mostly because I care so, so much about what I do and want to represent my couples as genuinely and naturally as I can – believe me, I put the pressure on myself big time. Well as soon as I walked in and saw these two, the nerves fell away and I realized how lucky I felt to get to share in the moments of their world.
Sam & Chantal, thank you from the depths of my heart for trusting in me; for sharing the most epic charcuterie (shout out to Chantal) & dancing like goofballs & letting go, I’ll never forget this time with you guys.
Without further ado, here is the love of Chantal & Sam (and Kevin!)
