What happens when pride month kicks off in the best way possible? Well, Stephen & Ian get married and make it one epic affair. From start to finish, this day was one for the books and a wedding that we are so grateful to have been apart of.
It was just over a year ago, that I snapped a candid of these two beauties on the dance floor at Amanda & Greg‘s Free Spirited Wedding. Of course I was drawn to them, they were the two studdliest (not sure if this is a word) dudes in the joint. Their smiles and infectious love for one another was magnetic, and I jumped full of excitement when they asked us to photograph their special day.
It’s not every day that you get to capture two white tuxedos, and I’ll tell you I was feeling the Oceans Eleven vibes! We started the day at the Broadview Hotel, hung around in some back alleyways, popped champagne and made it a beautiful afternoon to remember. These two held eachother’s hands as they made their vows and were serenaded by Ian’s aunt who made the room cry singing “Your Song” by Elton John. I have a record for tearing up during every ceremony, but I balled at this one and so did everyone else. We ended the night with the BEST possible performance once could see during pride month as TYNOMI BANKS danced up a freakin storm in all her drag queen glory. She may have grabbed Brandon, spun him around and made him feel like the prettiest girl in the room (HAHA! Story for another time!)
Thank you Stephen & Ian, for welcoming us into your beautiful world with open arms, sharing your private and intimate moments & having the best f*cking time at your wedding. It was INCREDIBLE, UNFORGETTABLE & PERFECT. And we’re pinching ourselves that we got to capture such unforgettable moments for you two. Without further ado, here is Stephen & Ian’s stunning Berkeley Church Wedding.
